My grandfather's old Tinsmith shop 1914

Old Tinsmith shop was located at 11 Crossett Lane in Springfield, MA. This was taken in 1914. The men are putting horse shoes on the horse which you can see the back of two horses in the door way. My grandfather and father did sheet metal work and were welders. In WW II, my grandfather signed a contract with the US Government to make milk cans and some sort of pans for the war. They also worked on Refrigerator trucks. This shop closed in 1941 due to the death of my grandfather, Henry Schott, Sr.
