Notes for Selome Tone:
(Tone:112) John Frederic Tone's Revolutionary War Pension Application of 1820 stated that he has a "Selome Tone" living with him whom he supported. It is only an assumption that this was his daughter. In 1820 it was stated that she was 15 years of age.

[1840 Census - Vermont - Orleans County - Morgan - page 4 - image 1]:
Selome Tone is listed as head of household. The family consisted of the two males, (1) 5-10 and (1) 30-40 and 6 females, (2) under 5, (1) 5-10, (2) 10-15 and (1) 40-50.

[1860 Census - Wisconsin - Green County - Mt. Pleasant (2) - August 11, 1860 - page 415-6 - image 29]:
Silome Tone, 56, a farmer born in New Hampshire and his wife, Deborah, 53, born in Vermont. Also listed is a daughter, Jennett, 21, and two sons, George, 17 and Charles, 12. In addition, a laborer, Michael Ward?, 26. The Tone real estate was valued at $3500 and personal property at $1120.
