      324. Beulah5 Stratton (Dinah4 Bemis, Joseph3, John2, Joseph1)1560,1561 was born 17 Jan 1743/441562. She married Soloman Jones1562 14 Mar 17641562,1563, son of James Jones and Abigail Garfield. He was born 20 Apr 17421563.

Notes for Soloman Jones:
Solomon Jones, their son, b. Apr. 20, 1742, was in the war of the Revolution. Solomon Jones' poll tax was remitted in 1762 with others who went as Solgers in 1759 and were detained more than 12 months. He married Beulah Stratton, March 14, 1764. Their children were:

Moses, b. June 20, 1764, bap. Oct. 22, 1764, 4 months old, mar. May 12, 1786, Hepzibah Dilloway, and moved to Hillsborough, N. H.
Lydia, bap. Aug. 24, 1766.
Sally, bap. Maech 27, 1768.
Soloman, bap. June 6, 1773, 3 yrs. old.
Joseph, b. June 2, 1773, bap. June 6, 1773.
Martha, Junr, dau. of Soln & ____ Jones, bap. Jan. 31, 1796, about 18 yrs. old.
_____, died a child of Soln Jones, 8 months old, Mch. 1783.

Solomon Jones was not taxed here from March 1768 to 1772, and was probably out of town. See baptism of son Solomon. An order given to him in 1796 for board of the "widow Hannah Jones" on the Selectmen's book, is in the Treasurer's Book for "his mother Jones."

The widow Hannah Jones died Dec. 27th, 1798.

Solomon's signature appears on the Selectmen's Book, May 16, 1799. He soon went to Hillsborough, N. H., where he died Feb. 18, 1806. His wife Beulah d. June 28, 1832, in Washington, N. H., June 28, 1832.
