Notes for Cyrus Bemis:
From the tombstone inscription of Elvira E. Chamberlain, we see that her husband was C.H. Bemis. In "The History of Dublin, New Hampshire", in the Genealogy section for the Chamberlain Family, p. 730-731, under James Chamberlain and wife Anna Marshall, we see that Elvira E. was their 2nd child.

"II. Elvira E., b. in D(ublin) Sept. 14, 1837; d. there Mar. 23, 1878; m. Cyrus H. Bemis, No ch."

No other mention for Cyrus H. in "The History of Dublin" but the proximity of the grave to that of Jeremiah and wife Sarah who died about 20 years earlier, and that of Sybil (Sibel) Emery, 2nd wife of Josiah Bemis,(b. 8/20/1795, d. Jaffery, 3/6/1852) suggests a family relationship. We find a Cyrus, son of David (Individual 737, p. 79 in Draper) and Cyrus, Individual 791, was b. Sept. 3,1802 from Draper). Cyrus would be the nephew of Jeremiah and the 1st cousin of Josiah. Based on this, I believe Draper Individual 791, Cyrus, to be the same as Cyrus H., husband of Elvira E. Chamberlain.

Based on this, I believe Draper Individual 791, Cyrus, to be the father of Cyrus H(enry) as husband of Elvira E. Chamberlain. (CEB,10/2000)
