Grandma Lillian Lee Shelton Bratcher
|
|

Here is how I remember my grandma. She was always jolly and would always feed you and give you flowers out of her flower garden. She gave us spools and Ivory soap with a bowl to make bubbles. Sometimes we played with the seed pods from her huge Mimosa tree in her yard. Until shortly before she died, she could still wash her feet in the sink in the bathroom after gardening. She put any gift she got into her cedar chest she had made from a tree in her yard. We would say, "wonder what we can give grandma this year to put in her cedar chest." She was a good artist and even wrote a couple of songs. I miss her.
