I am researching my father's line: James Edward Ward of Centralia, WA, and my mother's line: Linda Ruth Boogaard of Castle Rock, WA.
The Boogaards that came from Holland to settle in southwestern Washington state are fairly well documented. My father died young as did his father, so family connections on his side are pretty non-existent. Relatives I remember from his side of the family as a child include Edith and Hartwell O'Reilly of Yakima, Marion and Flo Bell of Lake City, WA, Bob Davis, a half-brother who lived in Bakersfield when I was young, with his wife Jeanne had a son Robby. And a cousin Jody who lived in Seattle and used to take me to Seattle Center.
My current brick wall is William Henry Ward, born about 1835 in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia. I have no information on his parents other than his father was born in Maine or New Brunswick and his mother was born in Scotland. This is not to be confused with a British William Henry Ward of about the same vintage and even same general area! As well, I am in search of records on the O'Reillys in Kingston, Ontario, Canada in the early 1800s.
