The Taylor Clan & their Allied Families

Updated August 25, 2008

About Our Family Research

The Taylor family came from England to America in 1837 and landed in Boston, MA. They lived in MA, for a few years, then spread out from there. My line, Robert, made their way to LaSalle Co., IL and then on to Spink Co., SD. Their family ties include: Crossley, Cook, Sutphen, Dow, Hutchins, McClure, Burkhart, Schell, Petrie, DeMuth, Tool, Whiting, Plunkett, Norton, King, Howe, Winthrop and many others. Several lines of the family were early pioneers in the Oregon Territory.
Of particular interest to me are old family pictures, documents, stories and ancestor descriptions. I am always willing to trade and share data, documents and pictures. Please contact me with any corrections or additions to my information.
My goal is to create several family books. If you wish to be included then let me know and I can include your data.
