I am researching the David family from Hungary, most likely Neuzina (Torontal County). My great-grandfather, John Joseph David, Sr. immigrated March 11, 1905 and settled in the Chicago, IL area, moving later to Gary, IN. He married Katherine Suich (which was spelled Szucs in Hungary). John's father's name was Joseph David and his mother's name was Theresa Eros. Katharine's parents were John Szucs and Julia Lazar. My grandmother's name was Harriett Lundstrom and her ancestors immigrated from Jonkoping, Sweden. The surnames in that line are Lundstrom, Schillman, Jonsdotter, Carlsdotter, Mansdotter, Larson, Olofsdotter and Magnusdotter. I am also working on the following surnames: Harris, Singleton, Tyson, Carlisle, Dail & McLawhorn from the North Carolina area, specifically Pitt, Craven, Wayne & Lenoir Counties.
