I am researching the De Vault family in the Peoria Illinois area. George W. and two brothers, Micheal and John L. S. came there about 1845. Looking specifically for what happened to the two brothers and any other info on George W. children by first marriage. Also looking for Nicholson in Alton, ENG area. Father George, daughter Mary, who married Thomas Cooke, at least two brothers and one or two sisters. @ 1860-1890. A possible tie to one sister is a Perce(Percy) Burt???.
