34) Garrison Hamilton and Esther Hamilton

Garrison J. Hamilton (1871-1944) was the son Thomas Jefferson Hamilton and Anna Cox Hamilton, and the grandson of John Campbell Cox and Nancy Dillon Cox. Nancy's Dillon family lived largely in the Monroe Co and Lawrence Co areas of Ohio from the middle 1800s and well into the 1900s. She was the daughter of John Dillon and Rachel Hamilton Dillon, and the granddaughter of Peter Dillon and Mary Veghte who resettled to Coshocton Co. from Greene Co., Pennsylvania by 1820. Garrison and wife, Esther Eliza "Liza" Pena (1864-1936), here buried in the New Marshfield Cemetery, Athens Co., Ohio, were the parents of Clara Bell and Nancy E. Hamilton.
