This photo of the family of Alonzo (Lonzo) Lloyd Dillon and Lucy Frances (Lula) Deaton Dillon at their 50th wedding anniversary taken in 1952, Prebble Co., Ohio, represents descendants of an extensive Franklin Co., Virginia Dillon family. Alonzo, born in Franklin Co., Virginia was the son of Henry Clay Dillon (1846-1903) and Sarah Jane Ferguson, the grandson of Robert Pasley Dillon (1809-1901) and Martha Dillon (a distant cousin of her husband) and great grandson of Henry Clay "Hal" Dillon (1779-1875) and Joanna Pasley. From the left is: Verna (Lloyd's wife), Lloyd Daniel, Alonzo (Lonzo), Marshall Henry, Lucy "Lula" (Deaton), Edith (Marshall's wife), Irene Francis, Everett "Pete" (Irene's husband), my mother, Dorothy, (Clyde's wife), and my dad, Clyde Wayne.
