94) Jacob Luther Dillon (1919-1983)

Jacob, son of Thomas Ellwood Dillon, Sr. (1868-1949) and Olive Leoria Lyons, here pictured in the 1940s. He married Edna June George and had, at least one son, Samuel David Dillon. Jacob is believed to have lived most or all of his life in or around Tyler Co., WV. He was the grandson of Jacob Dillon (1841-1904 and great grandson of Hugh Dillon (c1810-c1897). Jacob established himself during the Civil War as a member of the 116th OVI, a distinguished military infantry unit from Ohio which participated in many campaigns.
