136) Funeral cards for Henry Dillon and son, Grant

Henry Dillon (1831-1895) was the eldest child of Vincent and Hannah Jackson Dillon of Windsor Twp., Lawrence Co., Ohio. Lawrence County records indicate the cause of death for Henry was "inflammation of bladder". We have no additional details. His son, U. S. Grant Dillon (1864-1873) died of "Billious Fever" according to Lawrence Co., Ohio records. Typically bilious fever of the period may have included typhoid, malaria or even hepatitis. We do not, however, have further specific information. Both are buried in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Mason Twp., Lawrence Co., Ohio.
