HANCOCK ---- Ida Mae Adams, 86, Hancock, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 1995 at Riverview Manor, Wisconsin Rapids.
She was born December 27, 1908 at Hancock , the daughter of Willard C. and Ida M. Slife Wiley. She married Norman Adams on Nov. 29, 1930. He preceded her in death on April 5, 1947.
Mrs. Adms was employed by M & I Bank of Hancock. She had spent most of her life in Hancock and was a member of the Hancock United Church of Christ and a Charter member of the Ladies Aid.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Adams, Tomah; three sons, Stephen Adams, Fairbanks, Alaska, Richard Adams, Marquette, Mich., Arthur (Carol Jean) Adams, Wisconsin Rapids; three grandchildren, Andrew, Elizabeth and Molly.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mabel Wiley and one brother, Archie Wiley.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 1995 in Hancock United Church of Christ with the Rev. Scott Arpke-Lone officiating.
Burial will be in the Hancock Village Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Leikness Funeral Home in Hancock and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the church.

FOR NORMAN ADAMS
Funeral services for Norman L. Adams , who died Saturday at his home in Hancock, were held Monday at the Hamilton funeral home and at 3:00 o'clock at the Hancock Community building.
Rev. H. H. Ferris conducted the services and the Plainfield Odd Fellow lodge held it's service at the grave in the Hancock cemetery.
Norman Lynn Adams, second son of Otis C. and Anna Adams, was born February 2, 1909, at Hancock, and passed away April 5, 1947, after an illness of four months.
Norman attended Hancock High School and graduated with the class of 1927.
On November 29, 1930 he was united in marriage to Ida Mae Wiley, his schoolday sweetheart. To this union four children were born; Nancy, 10, twin boys, Richard and Stephen, age six, and Arthur four months. As a husband and father he was most devoted.
Except for a few years while in the publishing business with his father at Abbotsford, he spent his entire life in this community. At the time of his death he was postmaster in Hancock, serving in that capacity since June 1, 1944. Previous to that he had been in the postoffice as clerk and acting postmaster. He was also a member of the village board, treasurer of the cemetery association; a member of the "Order of the Arrow", a national brotherhood of Boy Scout honor campers; a member of the Hancock Community Civic Club and the Hancock Fire Department; and served as Scoutmaster for several years.
He is survived by his wife and children, his father and mother, two brothers, Orson of Hancock and Donald of Racine, two sisters, Mrs. Walter Mills and Mrs. Roy Steele, both of Hancock.
Those acting as pallbearers were Ralph Jensen, Carl Nelson, Orville Halverson, Hans Sorenson, Carneth Thompson and Milton Whitman. The honorary pallbearers were R. E. Caves, A. F. Hubbard, J. E. Parkin, Henry Walker, Pete Walker and Miles Collegan.
Relatives and friends from away who attended the funeral were; Mrs. Kate Wiley, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Wiley and son, Ted Monrovia, Cal.; Mrs. Cora Wiley, Stevens Point; Miss Miriam Melrose, Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Staley, Mrs. O. B. Swank and daughter, Connie, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. H. NEENAH---- Mrs. Eddie (Ethel) Pagel of Vallhaven Care Center, formerly of 164 Gruenwald, Neenah, age 86, died Sunday afternoon, Dec. 11.
She was born May 11, 1902, in Wild Rose and had been a Neenah resident for more than 50 years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Neenah.
Survivors include four daughters, Stella (William) Munsche and Erna (William Sr.) Callaway, both of Neenah, Alice (Frank) Muehlenbein, Menasha, and Helen (Charles) Kation, Oshkosh; two sisters, Mary Glunn, Wild Rose, and Viola Pawlowski, Menasha; a brother, John Jenks, Wild Rose; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie, in October 1982, one daughter, one sister, one brother and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Lutheran Church with the Rev. Richard Frost officiating. Burial will be in the Poy Sippi Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Westgor Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and at the church after noon on Wednesday.
A memorial fund has been established.

Mrs. Eddie (Ethel) Pagel, 86 of Neenah, who died Sunday, Dec 11, has 15 grandchildren among her survivors , rather than 14 as reported in Monday's Obituary.
The Northwestern was missinformed.

NEENAH---- Eddie C. Pagel, 80, Neenah, died Monday morning.
He was born Aug. 9, 1902, in Saxeville, the son of Gustav and Caroline Roggow Oagel. He married Ethel Jenks in 1926.
Mr. Pagel had been a Neenah resident for 50 years. He worked for the Bergstrom Paper Company, retiring in 1966. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his widow; four daughters; Mrs. William (Stella) Munsche and Mrs. William (Erna) Callaway, both of Neenah, Mrs. Frank (Alice) Muehlenbein, Menasha, and Mrs. Charles (Helen) Kation, Oshkosh; four sisters, Lydia Becker, Waupaca, Ethel Gilbertson, New London; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Thursday in Grace Lutheran Church, the Rev. Dale R. Zwieg officiating. Interment will be in Poy Sippi Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Westgor Funeral Home Wednesday from 4-8 p.m., and at the church Thursday after 10 a.m.

John A. Jenks, age 90, of Wild Rose passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2002 in Wild Rose.
He was born August 7, 1912 in Wild Rose, WI; the son of Louis and Hulda (Sliffe) Jenks. He married Myrtle J. Jensen on October 5, 1932 in Wild Rose. She preceded him in death on November 4, 2002. John served as treasurer of Saxeville School for 15 years, treasurer for St John's Lutheran Church for 15 years, and president of Hilltop Cemetery for 30 years. He enjoyed farming, gardening, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Saxeville.
He is survived by three sons; Calvin (Betty) Jenks of Wild Rose, Daniel (Leola) Jenks of Wild Rose and Larry (Evelyn) Jenks of Saxeville; a daughter; Darlene (Allan) Manske of Saxeville; two daughters-in-law; Erna (Reine) Frederick of Pine River and Donna Jenks of Wild Rose; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, sister-in-law; Faith Jenks of Wild Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Myrtle; two sons, Douglas and Eugene Jenks; one brother, Alfred Jenks, and four sisters, Ethel Pagel, Minnie Jenks, Viola Pawlowski and Mary Glunn.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. St. John's Lutheran Church in Saxeville. Reverend Ted Gulhaugen will officiate. A visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery in the Town of Saxeville. A memorial has been established. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Myrtle J. Jenks age 89, of Wild Rose passed away on Monday, November 4, 2002 in Wild Rose.
She was born on June 9, 1913 in Saxeville, Wis. the daughter of James and Louise Marie (Nielson) Jensen. She married John Alvin Jenks on October 5, 1932 in Wild Rose.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Saxeville.
She is survived by her husband: John A.
