KEVIN KOLODZIK
Omro--- Kevin Kolodzik, 49, of 527 Home Street, Redgranite, died Thursday, March 26, 1998 at his home.
Kevin was born on January 29, 1949 in Oshkosh, the son of Clarence and Ruth (Stokes) Kolodzik. He graduated from Omro High School. On October 24, 1987 he married Sharon Kammer in Berlin. He worked as a lead carpenter at PCS of Omro. Kevin was a past member of the Omro and Redgranite Fire Departments, and was a member of the carpenters Union Local 252. Kevin lived in the Omro and Redgranite area all his life.
Survivors include his wife Sharon of Redgranite; two sons, Eric Kolodzik of Oshkosh, and Chad Kolodzik of Oshkosh; one brother Clarence "Bud" Kolodzik of Pickett; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Maria and Kenneth Kammer of Redgranite; two brothers-in-law, Michael (Ruth) Kammer of Columbus, Douglas (Rita) Kammer of Kenosha; one sister-in-law, Jennifer Rossi of Kenosha; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Lawrence Kolodzik.
Funeral services for Kevin were held on Sunday March 29,1998 at 2:00 p.m. at the Krause Funeral Home in Omro with Pastor Krueger officiating. Burial followed in the Rushford Cemetery, Town of Rushford. Friends called at the Krause Funeral Home on Sunday, March 29, 1998 from 12:00 (noon) until the time of service. Krause Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

BRIAN LEE CASPERSON
Brian Lee Casperson, 40, of 44 Lawndale St. Ripon, died on Friday. January 14, 2005 at his home.
Brian was born on March 30, 1964, the son of Robert and Elaine (Sievert) Casperson in Kenosha, WI.
He graduated from Oconto Falls High School. Brian was a maintenance worker, and on May 12, 1990 he married Roxanne Graper and they lived in Ripon the last 14 years. He attended Messiah Lutheran Church of Ripon. Brian loved to spend time with his loving wife and daughters and to have camp fires.
Survivors include his wife Roxanne of Ripon, two daughters, Amber and Ashley, both at home, his parents; Robert and Elaine Casperson of Stiles, four brothers; Gregory (Doris) Casperson of Berlin, Randy (Carolyn) Kmiecik of Menominee, MI, Ronald (Jane) Kmiecik of Chugiak, AK, and Gary (Lori) Kmiecik of Marinette, WI. Father-in-law, Reinhold Graper, aunts, uncles and several nieces, and nephews and cousins. Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, and mother-in-law, Viola Graper.
Funeral services for Brian will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at noon, at Messiah Lutheran Church of Ripon with Pastor Bryan Fritsch officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Garden of the Cross Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.

Promoted in Mc Reserve

The promotion of Ronald R. Moriearty to the rank of Private First Class in the Marine Corps Reserve was one of the highlights of the regularly scheduled drill held Wednesday. 12 February 1958 by the 95th Infantry Company, USMCR;USN and MCRTC, Menominee Park, Oshkosh, Announcement today by Capt. Billy Burton, the Commanding Officer.
Private First Class Moriearty is the son of Mr. and Mrs, Bernard E. Moriearty Route 1, Omro. He enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve on July 17, 1957.
PFC MORIEARTY is a member of the Six Months Training Program and upon graduation from high school, will attend intensive active duty for training for six months at Marine Corps Bases in Southern California. Upon completion of the six month active duty training he will return home to further his civilian pursuits. He will attend regularly scheduled drills each Wednesday evening at 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. with the 95th Infantry Company, USMCR, USN and MCRTC, Menominee Park Oshkosh.
