John Keyser (b. August 19, 1792, d. November 23, 1850)
John Keyser (son of Jacob Keyser and Susanna Smith) was born August 19, 1792 in Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died November 23, 1850 in Pennnsylvania. He married Elizabeth Hackenburg on Abt. 1820 in Pennsylvania.

As a young boy, John settled in what is now called Freeburg, in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. Later he moved to Northumberland County, where he made his home at Chillisquaque. There he bought a tract of land, but he followed his trade, that of Showmaker, Durning most of his active life.
