William Franklin Keyser (son of Jacob Henry Keyser and Mary Weiss) was born October 01, 1877 in Milton, Northumberland Co. or Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne Pennsylvania., and died October 28, 1958 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. He married Anna Laura Gardner on Abt. 1911 in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, daughter of Louis Gardner and Bertha Althaus.

William served durning the Spanish-American and World War 1. Durning WW1 he served
with Head Quarters Company 7 FA of the 1st Division as the Band Sargent. He later
served at Ft. Sam Houston where he retired from the Army, and stayed in San Antonio, Texas.
He is Buried Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery next to his wife Anna Laura.

Texas marriage records show that Anna Laura married a Morris Baldwin, who is the same
as William Franklin Keyser. The name Morris came from a change durning WW1 to
hide his German Ancestry since he was fighting against Kaiser Wilhelm.
