About Our Family Research

I have been researching the following surnames since 1998 that are conneted to my family and my husband's family:Gohlke,Karnei/Karney,Dunn,Bankhead,Reed,Cornell,Witter,Boyd,Eppright/Ebright/Eprecht/Ebrecht,Cardwell/de Cardeville.
I am trying to find out as much information as possible about the surname of GOHLKE. These surnames originated form the eastern sectors of the province of Brandenburg,Prussia and the Western sectors of the province of Posen, Germany. There were some that ended up in Western Prussia. Those that were living in the first two provinces lived very close to each other.
