John Cooper Chancellor married Catherine Sinnett and Benjamin Chancellor married Phoebe Sinnett. "These girls were sisters, and children of Patrick Sinnett, an Irishman who was with General Lewis at Point Pleasant, and in the Revolutionary army. He died in the fifties, at one hundred five years old."
In an e-mail 8 Sep 2002 Barbara Burrows wrote: I noticed that your Chancellor family, on the
very last line, was in Scott Co., AR. in 1860's. That's quite a coincidence, because my great grandmother Mariah Sieber died in either Scott or Sebastian Co., AR. I am in Hemet, Ca., but I was born in Ft. Smith,
AR in Sebastian Co. Scott borders Sebastian Co. I'm certain that they connect somewhere. (Sieber another spelling of Seybert. Catherine's great grandmother's maiden name was Seybert)
