  Notes for Tacy Drake:

I corresponded with you sometime last year. My husband descends from Amos Combs/Coombs and Tacy Drake. I was enquiring over the Amos Combs//Bailiss Combs, husband of Tacy Drake. I have been meaning for some time now to write to you again. I wanted to again thank your
willingness to help me. I have since been to Salt Lake City, and I was able to get a copy there of the will there. I was also able to find the land record in Montgomery Co., VA that I've long looked for. Well...
sort of. I was hoping to link Tacy's name with Amos Combs in Montgomery Co., VA (since Alvaro Gibbons wrote that Bailiss and Teasy Combs removed to Montgomery Co., VA and then later KY.) I didn't quite do that. However, the Amos Combs in Montgomery County, VA is the Amos Coombs in
Nelson and Hardin Co., KY who married Tacy Drake. I still do not have difinitive proof that Tacy/Teasy Drake was not married to Bailiss Combs but to Amos, but it's pretty close. I know that you do not descend from this particular branch of Drake families, but I thought I'd pass the info along to you anyway.
Thanks again so very much!
