Also, the basis for identifying Arnold as the father of Paulus seems to be taken from "The Pennsylvania Genealogical Magazine" Volume XXXI 1980 Number 3 in the article "The Ancestry of the Thirteen Krefeld Emigrants of 1683" by Wilhelm Niepoth, translated by John Brockie Lukens page 505:
      "Going by the first name of the eldest son, the father of Paulus Kuesters, must have been the Catholic, Arret Kuesters, who lived in Kaldenkirchen."
      Further research by Chester E. Custer provided further documentation and clues.

      Information on the Wilcox Family is found in "Ball Cousins" by Margaret Kinsey, published by Gateway Press, Inc., Baltimore, MD 1981 pages 1-12.
      Barnabas Wilcox was a prosperous ropemaker in Bristol, England . He was a Quaker subject to persecution by the Crown in the 1680s. William Penn personally encouraged Barnabas to settle at the time of Barnabas' first visit to Pennsylvania in 1682 with his then 13 year old son, Joseph.. (original letter dated 1701 of Joseph recalling this event to Penn may be found at The Historical Society of Pennsylvania, 1300 Locust St., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.) Barnabas brough his family to Pennsylvania and by 1685 Penn wrote "we have also a Rope walk made by B. Willcox, and cordage for shipping already spun at it." Barnabas was a member of the Assembly in 1685 and a Justice of the Peace for the years 1686, 1687, and 1689. Barnabas was also very active in the Quaker or Society of Friends Meeting activities.
