Minnie was the sixth child of George Rawls and Adriana Demory. She was raised in the Occoneeche section of Northampton County, North Carolina.
She was married in Jackson, North Carolina to Jessie Burton Parker who later became a pastor. They travelled to Lawrenceville, Virginia for business. He was an Evangelist until he became a pastor.
She was a mid-wife in Jackson. She would deliver all the babies during the week. After she got all the information about the babies, she would get her cover-wagon together and travel to the county court house from her back woods home to file the births.
She and her husband parted ways and she lived by herself in Jackson with her youngest son, Robin.
She married Horrison Moody. He owned alot of land in Occoneeche Neck, North Carolina. He died in the late 1930's.
She decided to divide to land up with her three children, Emma, Henry, and Robin. She left Robin as the executor of her estate.
She died in Jackson, North Carolina on January 2, 1948. She was buried in the Demory Cemetery in Jackson on January 5, 1948.

Jessie was born the eldest child of Mory Parker. According to Inez Alexander, his youngest daughter of his second marriage, his father was a white Northampton County man who may have came from Chowan County named Zack or Zachariah Parker. He was raised by his mother alone with his three siblings.
He married Minnie Demory in 1895 in Jackson, Northampton County, North Carolina. He became an ordain minister in the late 1890's. They had four children. He became a travelling preacher who frequented Lawrenceville, Virginia. His son, William Henry was born in Lawrenceville in 1904.
Jessie and Minnie were divorced. Jessie married Lucy Baskerville of Jackson, North Carolina. They had two children: Inez and Jessie B. Parker, Jr.
Jessie died on February 22, 1931 in Jackson, North Carolina according to his daughter, Inez Parker Alexander. A photograph of him exist today.

She was the second child of Burt and Minne Parker. According to the 1900 Census of North Carolina-Occoneeche, she was the youngest of two children. When she grew up, she may have married a man by the last name of Johnson but later moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she was never heard from again.
