Under engagment to George Melrose, George dunn came in 1879, then a mere lad who had not completed his schooling. At Middlecamp he proved another adept in the art of droving, in fact it almost seemed instinctive in the dunn blood. With him had come his mother and three sisters, the latter of whom shared the work of pioneering with equal zest as their brothers, eventually becomming Mrs. James and John Elliott and Mrs Argent.
