Helen Mucha (daughter of Benny Mucha and Julia Preshinski) was born April 16, 1892 in Ortiovinka, Poland - Rus, and died February 22, 1965 in Tunkhannock, Pa. She married Kazimir Kowalczyk, son of Ignaz Kowalczyk (Kovalchick) and Katha (Katarina) (Kovalchick).

Born April 16, 1892 in Ortiovinka, Poland-Russia. Parents were Benny Mucha (Mohan, Muha) and Julia Preshinski. She came to the United States through Ellis Island on August 4, 1910 on the ship, President Lincoln, they sailed from Hamburg, Germany. Prior to coming to America her residence was listed as Szkwa, Russia. Married Kazimir Kovalchick, they had six children-Joseph, Victoria, Stella, Charles, Frank, Helen. She never became a United States citizen. Her alien registration #2155596. Had at least one brother in Poland, name unknown, a cousin in Brooklyn, NY any other brothers and sisters unknown. She died of a stroke February 22, 1965 and is buried at Mt. Carmel Cemetary in Tunkhannock, PA.
