In Memory of Elizabeth Mary Lawrence
This issue is dedicated to the memory of Mrs. Lawrence, one of God's most faithful servants. She passed to her crowning on Friday afternoon, October Fourth at the age of eighty-four.
She joined the Brandywine United Brethren Church when she was sixteen years old and when that church combined with the Dover Church she became one of its charter members.
She was ever loyal to her church and faithfully performed her duties. She was an active sponsor of all church organizations.
Her great faith in God and prayer and her thoughtfulness of others will never be forgotten by all who knew her. Often she was an angel of mercy in homes of the community where sickness and death had entered.
She will be missed and not forgotten for she will live on in the lives of her children and her friends.
