Buena Vista - William Marion Clark, 85, died Saturday (Feb. 7, 1987) in a Waynesboro nursing home. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lutis C. Clark; four daughters, Mrs. Priscilla Branham of Amherst and the Misses Mary E. Clark and Junia Clark and Mrs. Phyllis Wagner, all of Raphine; three sisters, Mrs. Sally Clark and Mrs. Mazzie Lilly, both os Buena Vista and Mrs maggie Stickley of Weyers Cave; five brothers, Herbert of Vesuvius, Wilmer, Arthur and Herman, all of Buena Vista and Layton Clark of Birmingham, AL; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A service will be conducted 2pm Tuesday at Lomax Funeral Chapel, Buena Vista, by the Revs. Donald Fogus and Rudolph Tomlin, with burial in Irish Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mary Clark "Maggie" Stickley, 79, of Weyers Cave, died at Rockingham Memorial Hospital on Wednesday (Sep. 17, 2003). She was born in Rockbridge County on April 4, 1924, the daughter of the late William Boyd and Christina Southers Clark. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethern. She retired in 1986 from General Electric where she had worked for 20 years. She was an avid gardener and fishing woman. On June 23, 1942, she married Guy J. Stickley, who preceded her in death on February 22, 1988. She is survived by two sons, Guy J. Stickley Jr., of Weyers Cave and Eugene F. Stickley of Harrisonburgl two daughters, Christine S. Edwards of Fort Defiance and Joyce Fay Stickley Coiner of New Castle, VA; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of special nieces and nephews. A service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday (Sep. 20, 2003) at the chapel of the Lindsey Funeral Home in Weyers Cave with the Rev. Matthew Fike and Don Landes officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Valley Church on the Brethern. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-8 this evening. Memorial contributions my be made to the RMH Hospice, 235 Cantrell Ave., Harrisonburg, VA, 22801.
