Susan Davis Coffey
Was Employed At Burlington Industries
Susan Davis Coffey, 55, of Buena Vista, died Saturday, April 29, 2006 at her home.

She was born December 11, 1950 in Rockbridge County, the daughter of the late John B. Davis, Sr. and Helen Stinnett Davis.

Mrs. Coffey was a member of the Buena Vista First Brethren Church.

She was employed at Burlington Industries.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John "Skip" Davis.

She is survived by her husband, Arnold Coffey; a daughter, Kimberly Dawn Harris and son-in-law, Rusty of Buena Vista; a son, Steve Dwayne Coffey, Buena Vista; special caregiver, Angela Grimm; sister-in-law, Marlene Davis of Newport News; two special nephews, Scott and Greg and families; a special niece, Cynthia and family; brother and sister-in-law, Glenwood and Juanita Coffey; a grandson, Holden Coffey; and many special friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Christian Becker, Rev. Dean Staton and Rev. Butch Grow officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Rockbridge Area Hospice. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home.
