Daughter of Charles Henry Ratliff & Julia Catherine Dunn she was the first Female Justice of the Peace in N C and Mayor of McFarlan N C. She is a direct descendant of William Ratliff and Eleanor Burke via their son Thomas Ratliff and Sarah Diggs via Elijah Ratliff & Nancy Jernigan.
