Arthur H. Freeman, Age 65 of Tracy, CA, formerly a Madison resident, died on Thursday, February 7, 1985 in Tracy after a short illness. He was born on May 19, 1919 in Portland, Maine. Mr. Freeman moved to Madison from Boston, MA in 1956 to start a data processing bureau at the request of a group of Midwest accountants. He was president of Madison Tabulating Services, Inc. which later became Centralized Accounting, Inc. The firm was acquired by United Data Centers, Inc. in 1972 and most recently by Tymshare, Inc.. Mr. Freeman also served as Executive Secretary of the Association of Business Accountants (A.B.A.) until his retirement to Coronado, CA in 1977. Mr. Freeman is survived by his wife, Avis M. of Tracy; a son Scott Freeman of Litchfield, NH; two daughters, Suzanne Kessler of Tracy, CA and Cheryl Ignatowski of Madison, WI; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd. on Tuesday, February 12, 1985 at 11:00 a.m. the Reverend Stanley S. Klyve will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park and there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tracy, CA.

Mrs. Avis M. Freeman, 68, a former Madison, WI resident died on Tuesday, December 13, 1988 in Tracy, CA. She was born October 27, 1920 in Worcester, MA. Mrs. Freeman moved to Madison, WI from Boston, MA in 1956 and has been a California resident since 1977. She, with her husband, Arthur H. She is survived by a son, Scott (Karen) Freeman of Litchfield, NH; two daughters, Mrs. Suzanne (Denman) Kessler of Tracy, CA and Mrs. Cheryl (Robert) Ignatowski of Madison, WI; and five grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at the Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road on Saturday, December 17, 1988 at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend David Swenson will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Ignatowski, Robert A.

Madison - Robert A. Ignatowski died on Tuesday, October 31, 1989 in a local hospital of cancer. He was born on June 22, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio to Geneva and Clement Ignatowski. From 1959 to 1967 he was a member of the rock band "Johnny and the Hurricanes" who, in the early 60's traveled all over the world and played with many famous rock artists, including the Beatles, in Hamburg, Germany. His travels brought him to Madison in 1965, where he met and later married the former Cheryl Freeman on April 30, 1966 in Toledo, Ohio. They were married for 23 years and had two daughters. After the birth of their first daughter in 1967, they moved to Madison where he worked as a printer at United Data Center/Tymeshare Corporation for 15 years. After leaving Tymshare he became a bartender and worked in many local establishments. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa in 1968; his father in 1981; and his mother in 1982. He is survived by his wife, Cheri; his daughter, Deena; two brothers; and many nieces, and nephews. Bob will always be remembered for his kindness and faithfulness to his friends and family, and the courageous strength he had while fighting his battle with cancer. You will be sorely missed Bobby. Romans 8:38-39. Funeral services will be held at the Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road, on Saturday, November 4, 1989 at 10:30a.m. The burial will be in the Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetary. There will be no visitation. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
