Here are stored some documents and links to other sources of family history of the family of Michael Fritz, who emigrated from Germany in 1750. He settled in old Berkeley County, VA, on Opequon Creek and raised his family. Today's family is ever larger as we link up and discover our common roots.

Amanual, 3rd son of Michael II, born abt 1811 & Sarah Ann (Combs) 2nd wife. She died in 1865 dating this picture to about the early 1860's. Ida Fritts provided this Photo.

Phillip, a blacksmith, moved to Putnam Co. IN with sister and brother-in-law Susanna and Silas Watts. He gave up his land in KY to Isaac when he went. Ida Fritts provided this document.

In this household was 1 male over 16, 3 males under 16, and 3 females. Fayette was 1 of 4 counties disputed between Pa and Monongalia Co.Va at that time.
