Will In
In the name of God Amen.
I
Volentine Frits of the county of Brown Ohio being
weak in body but of perfect mind and memory
thanks be given to God calling into mind the
mortality of my body and knowing that it is ap-
pointed for all men once to die do make and
ordain this my last will and testament that
is to say principally and first of all I give and
recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty
God that gave it and my body I recommend
to the earth to be buried in decent christian
burial at the discretion of my relatives nothing
doubting but at the general resurrection I shall
receive the same again by the mighty power of God
and (tou?)ching such worldly estate wherewith it please
God to bless me in this life. I give devise and
dispose of in the following manner and form
that is to say I give and bequeath Mary Frits
my dearly beloved wife whom I ordain Executrix and
Isaac Roth Executor of this my last will & testament.
First to Mary my beloved wife I give and devise
the place that I now live in with all the rents and
profits arising therefrom during her life and after
her death to be equally divided between my two
sons namely David and Volentine Frits likewise
to my daughter Priscilla Frits all the movable
property. Likewise the land that I own in Ken-
tucky on Red River Blake County to be equally
divided between my two sons namely, Michael
and Henry Frits and I do hereby utterly disallow
revoke and disannul all and every other former
testament, wills, legacies, bequests, Executrix or
Executor by me in any ways before named
willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming
no other. to be my last will and testament. In
witness my hand and seal this twenty fifth day
of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and twenty three. his
