 Includes NotesNotes for Elisabeth Frey:
Per James A Jurney's -- Frey:

Elisabeth Frey was the natural child of Hans Heinrich Frey (born 1601) and Elsbeth Grob. By June of 1631 Elsbeth Grob had died and Hans Heinrich married Froneck Rutschi on June 8, 1631. Hans Heinrich died prior to the 1634 census of Knonau, leaving Elisabeth Frey an orphan. The 1634 census of Knonau lists "Froneck Rutschin, Hans Freyen seligen hinderlaBen Witfrau", and her own one surviving child, "HanBeli".

The 1634 census also shows Elisabeth Frey as "Lisabeth, 10 jarig" as a child of Hans Heinrich Frey (born about 1687[?]), and who was married to Anna Hon. Lisabeth is listed along with four of the older natural children of Hans Heinrich and Anna, with this notation: "Konnend baten die 10. gebot" (Konnen beten die 10 Gebote = Have skill to say in prayer the Ten Commandments). It appears from this record that Elisabeth Frey was adopted by her uncle Hans Heinrich Frey and his wife Anna Hon. What else could Hans Heinrich do with his ten-year-old orphaned niece but take her into his own family.
