Her father was Hugh McManany who was born in County Donegal in Ireland. He died in 1859. His wife, Margaret's mother was Susan Harron who died 1846. Her brothers Thomas was killed in action in civil war and John died of diseases contacted during the civil war.
38. Kenosha News, Dec. 6, 2004 pC2, Roberta Jean "Bobbie" Ells, 71, of New Lisbon died Saturday (Dec. 4, 2004) at Hess Memorial Hospital in Mauston. Born Aug 21, 1933, in Gary, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Crosby) Henthorne. In 1952, she married Donald R. Ells in Waukegan, Ill. She was a homemaker. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, rose gardening, and racing cars. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Jenniffer Besch, Denise Ells and Sheila Ells, all of New Lisbon; a son, Robbie (Tamme) Ells of Necedah; three brothers, William Henthorne of Kenosha, Frank Henthorne of Boulder, Colo., and Richard Henthorne; two sisters, Elizabeth King and Suzanne Cuffe, both of Kenosha; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Hare Funeral Home, New Lisbon, is in charge of arrangements. Griffie. Kenosha Funeral Services is in char of arrangements. Ells--Funeral Services for Roberta Jean "Bobbie" Ells, age 71, of New Lisbon, will be held on Tuesday Dec 7, 2004 at the Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon, WI.
