He was one of the original colonists who in 1655 settled on Beaupre Coast of the St Lawrence River at L'Ange-Gardien, Quebec. In 1985 his old homesite indicated it was well preserved by the Trudel Family as an historic site.

arrive in La in the 1720's. He was a native of Ehweigen in Wittemburg in
waht is now W. Germany. Antoni was a farmer. They were Lutheran.

Pierre Munich is found in the census of Nov. 20, 1724, of the German
Village located on the MIssissippi above New Orleans, He is 40 and a
native of Dobricheim (Oberheim) in the Palatinate. He is Roman Catholic,
a carpenter. His wife, one daughter of 14 and another daughter of 12 days
are with him.
(ACCORDING TO CONRAD, GLENN, "FIRST FAMILIES OF LA." VOL 11, PAGE 15
DTHIS IS PROBABLY HIS SECOND WIFE, ANNE MARIE SATUERN, THE MOTHER OF THE
CHILD OF 12 DAYS. THE DAUGHTER OF 14 YEARS IS PROBABLY CATHERINE
MUNICHER, HIS DAUGHTER BY HIS FIRST WIFE , BARBE HILPERTE.)
