Bozeman History
Richard is also working on the lineage of
Walter Coy Bozeman, a brother of D Leon Bozeman,
the sons of John Thomas Bozeman and Sarah Ann
Edwards.
Sarah's daughter was Ethel Pearl who married
James Stacie Mackenzie, and once again the Stacy
name interests me. Apparently Richard and Wayne
knew Aunt Ethel and enjoyed her stories of the
family. Ethel had a brother, Jesse Graves
Bozeman who married Loraine Duncan and named a
son Norman Richard Bozeman in 1933 Autauga
County.
Cousin Richard has wonderful Bozeman family
pictures, one of the John Thomas Bozeman house
in Hope Hull, near where he owned a store called
the McGeHee Switch, one of Ethel on a horse,
There is also a cousin William posting on
www.genforum.com about this lineage
Hopefully more cousins will be found so we
can continue this family tree :)
