Lived in Warren Township and was instrumental in building in 1824 - 1825 the Union Village Methodist Episcopal Church in New Providence, Union County, New Jersey which was in the same circuit as Genungtown. Listed in 1810 census as living at Chatham, Morris County, New Jersey. Founded the Trinity United Methodist Church, New Albany, Indiana which was dedicated on 20 June 1817.
