Chambakottukudiyil family is originated by the birth name as "Kallayiparambil" in Kothamangalam of Kerala.
The origin of the member is Acharu came from Moolekkattu birth name as Kanjirakkattu House Pallikkara near Kochi .Acharu is a female married to Itty , they have no children. There fore she adopted her brother's son called Mathew . Mathew have four children name as Vitta , Kunjilachy, Varkey & Chacko. From this section Varkey is married Annam . This family settled in Ayakkad as Chambakottukudiyil family.
For the purpose of well being and unity of members , a association was formed in 1968 as "Chambakottukudiyil Kudumbayogam" . This effort is executed by Rev. Fr.Poulose Ayikarakudiyil in 1968. Once in three month a Sunday there is a meeting . These meetings are held at different houses in turn vise.
There is a Committee is nominated from general body , from that committee members will be select three members as Secretary, President & a Vice President .
The current office bearers are Mr. Thomman Poulose (Secretary) he is retired from Cochin Shipyard Ltd , Mr. C.C.Geevarghese (President) he is active member of St. Paul's Prayer Fellowship and retired as Business man in Automobile Spare Parts at Perumbavoor & Mr. Cheria Geevarghese ( Vice President.) he is retired from Revenue services from Kerala State as Village Officer. Most of the members are settled in different places kerala mainly located in Ayakkad nearby Kothamangalam .
Some members are settled in Sulthan Battery, Trivandrum, Vengola , Marady ( Muvattupuzha), Kochi & also in overseas like America, Australia, UAE, etc.
