Dad's Grandfather came from Kentuckey to Virginia as a Settler and was Married in Virginia. Then came on West. (He came to Virginia shortly before his marriage there). And came on west soon after his marriage. Dads Grandmothers name was, Sarrah Harboldt. Homesteaded, Raised Cattle, and (got Rich) Became wealthy.

Another Daughter "Mary" of the Parsons Family, "Dads" Aunt" Married a Saloon Keeper by the name of "Smart" at Seneca Missouri. They Raised 2 Boys to near 12 years of age then Both the Parents Died and their Relatives in New York State took the Boys and Educated them, After the Boys were Grown they returned to Seneca, for a time. One was said to be a Real Jentleman and the other one just a plain Drunkard.

A Son " William Parsons" (Dads Father) Died at the age of 24, with a severe pain in his Right Side, (No food Dr's then) Dad said He is now sure it was Appendicitis.

A Son "Jack Parsons" Lived at Baxter Springs Kansas, his oldest Boys name was (Dad thinks) Harmon, and a second boys name was "Jim", He also had a Daughter "Elizabeth" she married a Gillmore who lived at Dayton or Racine Missouri. another girl by the name of "Malinda married a Langford at Seneca, Mo. Dads; Mothers, Father "John White" was known as OLD MAN WHITE. Boatman & storekeeper, His Boat Ran from St Joseph Missouri Via the Missouri River to some Port in Kentuckey, Thinks it was Natchets or Memphis near wher the Ohio River Empties into the Missippi, "Cairo or Fulton". He was know as one of the Pioneer Boatmen on the Missouri River.

This man was Dads Grandfather, His Son "Jimmie White(or Jim) was a Federal Soldier in the Civil War, He was Shot, the Bullet going in one Ear and out the other this did not kill him, but He had to wear a wool (Red) Stocking-Cap over his Head for the rest of his life. He lived in Jefferson City, Mo. and was know as Old Jimmie White by most everyone. "He was Dads Uncle".

His Sister (Ann White) married Sam Lemon and had three children, Asbury, Bill, and Lena. Lena Married a man by the name of Birch, and they lived in Cook County Texas.

At this point, Dad showed signs of tireing "shifting his upper body restlessly" told me to have the nurse bring that medicine ( a sedative).

I was eager to hear about his Ancesters, But watched closely for any Indications of his Un-willingness to talk. as any undue strain may have prooved too much for his weakened condition.

Up to this point; He seemed Interested and Very Peaceful.
