Esta página está dedicada a la familia Hernández de la República Dominicana.
Las primeras noticias de esta familia las tenemos en San José de las Matas. Esta información data de mediados del siglo XVIII.
De ahí, por el 1828 emigraron a La Vega.
Ya en segundo cuarto del siglo XX se dispersan a Santiago, Santo Domingo y New York. Sólo un ramal quedó y permanece en La Vega.
