dear Erik, I have now been waiting so long for a letter therefore I had to
write and ask You to send me a letter so I can hear how Your life is and how it
is with Andrew, if he is alive and still is in the same condition.”
”I
have been to bed the whole winter but is now a little better.” ”I have been in
Östersund by Christina (Staverfelt) and Karin (Walin) but now I am back in
Hallen and have Anna, daugther of Karin, taken care of me.” Your sisters (here in Sweden) live as usual except that
Anna, (Gärdin) Your sister Anna`s youngest daugther has gone home to God.”

is very hot and dry, taken away al out on the fields.” ”Maybe it is the same in
Chicago.”
