Robert Duff Green (son of William "The Elder" Green and Elenor Duff)1 was born 1695, and died 1748 in Orange Co., VA. He married Eleanor Dunn.

Robert Green, son of William Green and Eleanor Duff, was born in 1695 and married Eleanor Dunn of Scotland.

Robert Green and Eleanor Dunn came to America (about 1710) with his uncle, Sir William Duff, a Quaker (Eleanor Duff's brother).

Robert Green built a home near Brandy, VA and named it "Liberty Hall" in what is now Culpepper County, VA. In 1731 he became one of the first vestrymen of St. Marks Parish, now Culpepper County, and was Captain of the Orange County militia. In 1736 he was a member of the House of Burgesses from Orange County.

Robert Green died in 1748 and is buried at "Liberty Hall." His will, dated 1747, was probated July 28, 1748 in the Orange County Court House of Virginia.
