Includes NotesNotes for Anna Maria Güdemann:
Anna Maria Güdemann was a Protestant and Franz Joseph Schönle was a Catholic, but that did not prevent Anna Maria from having six children out of wedlock.

When the fifth child, Friedericke, was born in 1860, the Pastor noted in the margin of the birth record that this was Anna Maria's fifth offense.

On October 20, 1862, Franz Joseph testified that he was the father of the first five children; and on January 13, 1863, he acknowledged that he was the father of the sixth child, born December 25, 1862, in nearby Sitzenkirch. On that same day Franz Joseph and Anna Maria finally married in Vogelbach.
