Mom said Aunt Evie was tall & thin and very blind (when she knew her. And claims she was too cheap to have cataract surgery!)
Grandma said she didn't have any children and when she died left all her money & everything to Garnet because she felt bad for her being alone etc. and pretty much on her own raising the kids (although they were raised by then). This made Arthur angry. Grandma also said Arthur & his wife lived in the cute little house at the top of the hill in Tecumseh.
