Descendants of Francis Brune

Generation No. 2

2. PETER2 BRUNE (FRANCIS1) was born 1854 in Alsace Lorraine, France, and died in Maryland. He married ELIZABETH BEATIN. She was born 1857 in Maryland.

Notes for P
ETER BRUNE:
Peters Brune's family left Alsace-Lorraine, the border country between Germany and France to settle on Prince Edward Island, a part of Acadia (date unknown).

When the English deported them in 1755, the family made its way to Balitmore, Md, probably by ship. They may have been headed for Louisiana but for some reason disembarked at Baltimore.

Peter fought in the Confederate Army and died in a Confederate Soldiers home in Virginia.

Amended to say that the information above is probably not correct. See notes on Francis, his father. Peter was apparently born in 1853 and would have been too young to serve in the military. So what war did he fight in?

Occupation: Box-maker.

Children of P
ETER BRUNE and ELIZABETH BEATIN are:
  i.   MARCELLUS3 BRUNE.
  ii.   JOSEPH BRUNE, b. 1878.
  iii.   AUGUST BRUNE.
  iv.   MARIE BRUNE.
3. v.   FRANCIS L. BRUNE, b. July 1874.
