BJ Heideman's SEARCHINGS

|
I have dabbled in genealogy for many years. I've finally gotten serious and put it on view for others to see and hopefully help me complete. Andrew, son of Peter Olson, came to the US from Sweden. As he was NOW an American, he adopted the American ways and became Andrew Olson, instead of Andrew Peterson, as he would have been in Sweden. His brothers that he sponsored are Peterson's.
The research is NOT mine, for the Heideman's. I inherited it from my mother-in-law, Emma Sparenberg Heideman.
I would be glad to hear of any mistakes that are found by any family members or those with research.
This Heideman family meets in Reunion on the 2nd Sunday of July in Ashkum. Anyone interested is invited to email me for details. Go to http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/h/e/i/Betty-Heideman-Il/ for the families of Thomas Thompson, Toussaint Giroux, Absolom Boring, Peter Doty, and William Parkes.

- The Heideman's of Central Illinois (72 KB)
This tree was started by my mother in law, Emma Sparenberg Heideman, and I interherited the work from her.
- My Sutton Family (45 KB)
The name Sutton can mean "south of town", therefore many were called "Sutton". My Sutton Branch begins with George and Sarah, parents of William, born in 1641 in Plymoth MS and continues thru my paternal grandmother. I invite additions, etc., to my tree.
- The Peter Olson and Peterson Family in Central IL (22 KB)
Andrew, son of Peter Olson, came from Sweden. In Sweden, he would be Andrew Peterson, but he felt that since he was in America, he would take the "American" way and became Andrew Olson. This it the tree of his descendants as complied by a great granddaughter
