Victor and Audrey Marie Dusing Moore. Audrey was born on 24 August 1930 in Buffalo, New York. She is a retired Air Force Civil Servant. She worked for 10 years, the first 5 years at Norton AFB in San Bernardino, California. When Norton was closed, she was transferred to Edwards AFB California, which is located near Lancaster. She was a counselor and educator for the Family Support Centers at both bases. She retired on June 30, 1998, and died instantly on April 15, 2008 from a massive stroke.
Victor met Audrey in the Napster Music Exchange Program on the internet early in December 2000 when he was living in Charlotte, North Carolina and Audrey was living in Altadena, California. They began chatting and soon found out they had a lot in common, and, surprisingly, that they had had previous direct contact with each other in 1970! On the Easter Sunday weekend in April of 2001, Victor sold his little car and took the Amtrak train to Glendale, California, where Audrey met him!
After 7 months of living with Audrey's youngest son and his family in Altadena, California, we moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to be with Victor's brother, John, who operates Helping Hands Braille Ministries, Inc.
