HARLES FOREMAN, SR:
An account of the Church at Candy's Creek, Cherokee Nation, 1 Jan 1828;
Charles Foreman- He is second son of Thomas Foreman and very dark conplexioned, he speaks the Cherokee & English languages equally well and frequently exhorts to prayer in religious meetings in his native tongue. I am sorry to state that he is less circumspect & godly than other members of this church. He has made himself subject by mis-conduct to discipline in two cases. Though he is now suspended from church privledges yet he is about being restored. He reads tolerably well.

NNIE SEABOLT:
Starr lists Seabolt 1-11 Annie Seabolt +Charles Foreman only. In Starr's compilation Annie is the daughter of Henry Seabolt Sr; however a fellow researcher has indicated that she is his sister.
Miller Application# 2743 for Margaret Benge nee Seabolt lists a sister, Annie, that was born in 1850.
Apparently Starr got Margaret's sister, Annie, confused with her aunt Annie that married Charles Foreman.

Stilwell Standard, Adair Co, OK, Sep 26, 1902; Mrs Annie Ross, probably the oldest person living in Sequoyah District died at the home of her grandson, Sam Johnson [see Samuel Lafayette Johnson, son of Nancy Isabelle Ross] living 5 miles north of town, at 9 o'clock Saturday evening at the age of 92 years. The cause of her death was old age and general infirmities, as she had been an invalid for 9 years, although she retained a remarkable memory to the last. She was born in Mississippi, came west with the early Cherokee immigrants, and had resided in the Cherokee Nation for nearly three quarters of a century. She was the mother of the late Dave Ross and leaves a number of descendants. -Sallisaw Star

Notes for N
ANNIE NV-TSI FOREMAN:
In Starrs' Foreman 1-3-X family line he seperates Nannie from Thomas Foremans' other children with a line indicating that she is a half-sibling. In Miller ap# 8764 (in paragraph 7) Nancy Zeigler nee Gafford (Nannies' daughter) shows that Nannies' parents were Thomas Foreman and Susie Fields. Nancy incorrectly filled out paragraph 16 by listing Thomas Foremans' parents (Anthony Foreman & Wottie (step-mother)) instead of Nannies' parents (Thomas Foreman and Susannah Fields).
