The Miller application for Sabra Beck nee Sturdivant lists her mother as Ara [Arie] Beck and states that Ara's sister was a Mary [that Starr lists as Pauline]. It appears that Starr's Ghigau 1-3-2-11 family group incorrectly lists "Mary" instead of "Arie/Ara" and that Pauline should be "Mary/Polly".

1842 Cherokee Claims, Flint District, claim# 104, for Aria Sturdivant, witnessed by mother, Susannah Eaton. States she was "in the old Nation connected with a white man by the name of Joseph Richards, from some cause or other they seperated as man and wife." Aria's property was taken to settle the debts of this Joseph Richards.
