Notes for BENJAMIN TIMPSON, JR:
In the 1848 Mullay roll, Benjamin, #1068, is listed as the uncle of a John Timson, #1061. The family that is listed for John Timson and his wife Lucy, #1062, in the Mullay roll matches Dr Emmet Starr's compilation for Benjamin's family with Ben's wife which also happens to be a Lucy. Supportive documentation from fellow researchers indicate that the family Starr attributed to Benjamin actually belong to John, and that the reference in the Mullay roll of Benjamin being the "Uncle" is refering to his being the uncle of John's children, hence Benjamin is John's older brother (twenty years older). I've requested the Miller applications that relate to this family so that I can make sure I got it correct this time. (Ap#s 3913, 4718, 8626, 8794, 5058, and 5055) Thanks, Peggy
HOWEVER; Miller ap# 9276 for Lucy Blanket nee Scott gives her grandfather as Jim Timpson NOT Benjamin NOR John!!!!!
