Notes for ROPE CAMPBELL, HON:
There was another Civil War soldier named Rope who complained in 1871 to the AGO investigators that another Cherokee (this Rope Campbell) had been fraudently paid benefits that belonged to him. The payments were made by J W Wright, the father of this Rope Campbell's son-in-law.
